Sailing world record attempt

 The “Always Higher 4.0” Challenge is a Sailing World Record Attempt by Yassine Darkaoui (Yass).

Yassine is a Moroccan living in Phuket. In 2014, he sailed 77 hours without assistance with a Laser.  He now has his sights set on a new challenge – sailing the longest distance that has never been recorded before with a single-handed dinghy  (A minimum of 350 nautical miles with a Laser). He will depart from Huan Hin’s sailing club and the crossing will be in the Gulf of Thailand.

As part of his trainings he sailed  last February 150 Nmiles in 30 hours. This first journey will be recorded by the  OWR . The next step are the 350 Nmiles. The departure is planned around end August.
